Smart Investments Prevent Tomorrow’s Insurance Claims

The study by the University of Graz (German) underlines that infrastructure investment today prevents tomorrow's insurance claims.
The problem: we often still think of climate protection in terms of sacrifice rather than functional resilience.
This is exactly where the JUMBO BLOCK system comes in – to stabilise the water balance over large areas, especially in agriculture.
Instead of letting rainwater run off the surface of dried-out soils (erosion) or pumping it with high energy input, we use an energy-neutral capillary retention system for pulsed agricultural irrigation.
What this means in practice:
- Physical intelligence instead of pump power: using the principle of subsurface capillary irrigation (SCI), we release water below ground. The system minimises evaporation and stops automatically as soon as the soil capillaries are saturated.
- Optimal field capacity: in soil science, “available field capacity” is the holy grail. JUMBO BLOCK keeps the soil consistently in this optimal range – without waterlogging and far from the wilting point.
- Economic efficiency: it is the transformation from mere retention (storage) to demand-based use (pulse).
Those who invest in such systems today secure not only the budget but the livelihood of our agricultural land. In the end, efficient climate protection is applied physics and smart infrastructure.
