Today we are completing a project that may at first seem unusual for a manufacturer of stormwater retention and water storage systems: JUMBO BLOCK Rescue.

A bootable rescue and work system based on MX Linux, equipped with 35 tools for data recovery, diagnostics, security and network analysis – and with the complete JUMBO BLOCK Engineering Suite.

Why do we do something like this?
Because we are convinced that infrastructure does not end at the edge of the concrete.
Planning, calculation, documentation, maintenance and operation are inseparably linked to digital infrastructure today. If it fails – through a technical defect, a cyberattack or simply a computer that no longer starts – work still has to go on.
JUMBO BLOCK Rescue boots directly from a USB stick, independently of the installed operating system. Tools for analysis and data recovery are then available, as are the JUMBO BLOCK engineering applications.

The Engineering Suite runs without installation, without a cloud and – as long as the task at hand does not require a network connection – completely offline.

This is exactly the idea behind jumboblock.org.
We never wanted to build just another product website there. Instead, we provide a growing toolbox that people can actually use – even if they never buy a single JUMBO BLOCK.

Engineering calculations, units, tables, document editing, PDF tools, file management, archives, password management, information on KRITIS, NIS-2 and the CRA and much more are freely available.

JUMBO BLOCK Rescue takes this idea one step further.
For us, digital resilience does not just mean talking about fail-safety. It means having tools available when the usual infrastructure is not.

With the completion of Rescue and the extensive German and English documentation, another big step has been completed:
the JUMBO BLOCK Engineering Suite is complete.
What began as a collection of individual engineering tools is today a coherent, bilingual working environment for planning, calculation, project work, documentation and digital resilience.

And we provide all of this as a give-away from JUMBO BLOCK.
Not every good connection to a brand has to begin with a sale.
