JUMBO JACK – The Water-Blasting Game Where Rainwater Wins

Our mascot now has his own game. In “JUMBO JACK vs. the Droughtlings”, JUMBO JACK uses stored rainwater to cool down nasty heat goblins – free in your browser, with no cookies and no sign-up. You will find it on our new games site jumboblock.cloud.

The Droughtlings are on the loose

Little glowing heat goblins have taken over the city. They sit on towers of hot asphalt, sheet metal and dry pallets, heat up the streets and let the city trees wither. Time for JUMBO JACK.

Water on – from the storage beneath his feet

Jack’s ammunition is no coincidence: beneath him lies a JUMBO BLOCK storage of three modules holding 41.7 m³ of rainwater. Every jet visibly drains the storage, and tapping rain clouds refills it.

This is exactly how the principle works in a real city: heavy rain is stored underground instead of flooding basements and sewers – and is available during heatwaves, for example to irrigate city trees. Learn more on our page about the real sponge city.

How it plays

• Aim and spray: press and hold mouse or finger – Jack sprays exactly where you point.
• Targeted shot on phones: a quick tap on a Droughtling fires a precise burst of water.
• Combos: fast hits push the multiplier up to x10.
• Chain reactions: falling towers take everything on top with them.
• Power-ups: golden clouds bring the pressure jet, triple jet or JUMBO MODE with unlimited water.
• They fight back: the Droughtlings throw ember balls. Miss one and water evaporates from your storage.
• Finale: in the last ten seconds everything counts double.

Who will become Grand Engineer?

Every wave gets hotter. Your points take you through the ENGINEERING CAREER from Engineering Apprentice to JUMBO BLOCK Grand Engineer, with eight achievements to unlock along the way.

In a duel, two to four people compete one after another on a single device – all in exactly the same round, followed by an award ceremony and a rematch. Perfect for families, classrooms or a trade fair stand.
