Digital sovereignty starts with our own infrastructure

Digital sovereignty does not begin with a promise. It begins with decisions about your own infrastructure. That is why we are gradually migrating the server and hosting infrastructure of ZANNI GROUP and its JUMBO BLOCK services from US-based to German servers.
Fewer dependencies. Greater control.
We are moving our websites towards a lean, transparent technical foundation built on HTML, with server-side components where functionality requires them. Wherever technically and operationally possible, we avoid cookies, tracking and mandatory registration. Information should be accessible without requiring visitors to disclose unnecessary personal data.
Moving away from a website builder to independently maintained websites is one concrete step. The migration spans multiple domains and services and is being carried out carefully in stages.
Security is more than a server location
Hosting in Germany alone does not guarantee security. System architecture, data flows, maintenance, protection against attacks and the ability to recover from disruption matter just as much. We therefore see this move as part of a broader effort to create a more resilient and controllable working environment.
JUMBO BLOCK: practical tools, not just buzzwords
Through the JUMBO BLOCK platform, we provide extensive information and freely accessible tools for critical-infrastructure-related work, engineering and office applications. The JUMBO BLOCK Dashboard adds sensor monitoring capabilities, support for workflows related to KRITIS, NIS 2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IOTA-backed data validation.
These tools can support documentation, monitoring and traceability. They do not replace individual legal advice, security assessments or formal conformity evaluations.
Five years of preparation – and the next step
We have spent five years developing the foundations of this offering. Our aim is to close practical gaps where information, technical tools and traceable processes are missing. Migrating our own infrastructure is a continuation of that work, not something that can be completed overnight.
Service availability during the transition
Over the coming days, individual websites and services may experience temporary interruptions or reduced availability. We will work to keep any disruption as short as possible and appreciate your understanding.
Our commitment remains unchanged: digital services that are accessible, purposeful and as independent of unnecessary technical dependencies as possible.
