New on jumboblock.de: search, regulatory framework and every page as a PDF

Anyone who plans, reviews or decides on JUMBO BLOCK needs reliable information quickly – on screen, at the authority and on paper. That is why jumboblock.de now offers three new features: a search across all content, a knowledge page on the regulatory framework and the option to save every page as a PDF.

You will find all three at the top right of the toolbar – on every page, on the computer and on the smartphone.

Search: all content at a glance

The magnifier opens the search – alternatively press the / key or Ctrl/Cmd + K. Results appear as you type, grouped into pages, blog articles, frequently asked questions, downloads and the programs of the JUMBO BLOCK Engineering Suite at jumboblock.org.

Straight to the passage: clicking a result jumps to the matching passage on the page and highlights it.
Tolerant of spelling: “Strasse” finds “Straße”, “loeschwasser” finds “Löschwasser”, “nis2” finds “NIS-2”.
Offline too: in the installed app, search works without an internet connection.

What makes it special lies beneath the surface: the search runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are not transmitted to our server – there is no third-party search service, no cookies and no analytics.

Regulatory framework: what applies to JUMBO BLOCK – and what does not

The info icon leads to the new knowledge page Regulatory framework. In connection with JUMBO BLOCK, regulations are repeatedly cited that do not apply to the structure. The page sets out objectively which laws, standards and technical rules actually apply:

A load-bearing structure, not a mass product: a JUMBO BLOCK structure is precast reinforced concrete construction – standard design C40/50 to DIN EN 206 / DIN 1045-2, designed to DIN EN 1992-1-1, founded to DIN EN 1997-1. Each structure is designed individually for its site, ground and use.
No DIBt approval required: under Section 16a(2) of the German Model Building Code, only a construction method that deviates substantially from the Technical Building Regulations needs an approval or type approval. The project-specific structural design is the evidence – as for any reinforced concrete structure.
Water law and environment: the water-law permit concerns discharge or infiltration, not the structure. The mineral concrete is not hazardous to water or soil and is recyclable.
Watertightness by design: the joints of the outer envelope are sealed permanently elastic with SABA Ecoseal Bio HM – developed with our partner SABA.

The page also answers the most common objections: from the missing approval to watertightness and positional stability, the German Substitute Building Materials Ordinance and the AwSV. This makes it a transparent basis for discussions and decisions for authorities, planners and clients.

Every page as a PDF

The PDF icon turns every page – including every blog article – into a clean A4 document. One click opens your browser's print dialog; choose “Save as PDF” or print directly.

Tidy: menu, icons and videos are omitted, images are scaled proportionally, frequently asked questions are expanded.
With QR code: each document ends with the web address, the print date and a QR code linking to the current online version. Anyone holding the paper is up to date again with a single scan.
No third-party services: the QR code is generated directly on our own server – without libraries and without external generators.

This lets you compile documents for committee meetings, tenders or files in seconds.

Lean, secure, sovereign

All three features follow the same principle as our move to German servers: as few dependencies as possible, no cookies, no tracking, no embedded third-party content. The website stays fast, privacy-friendly and usable as an app even without a network.
